Fan in the room is incredibly loud, even with the air conditioning turned off.

Free bikes for tours
First another room as booked - but remedy on criticism without further ado
-
Location 15 minutes walk from the White House, free bike rental (good bikes), very friendly and helpful staff, rooms clean and in very good condition. Parking service cost $50 per day, but seems to cost the same elsewhere. We had breakfast at Panera bread (15 minutes walk). Here we had something like European breakfast. All in all, the hotel can be recommended without reservation.
-
clean, nicely furnished rooms
Internet in room must be paid extra ($ 13.95 per day). There are only four working rental bikes for the whole hotel. We wanted to reserve bikes the evening before for the next day, but unfortunately this is not possible. The next morning at 8:30 all bikes were already taken. Our room was also quite bright and we could hear the neighbours and especially their TV all night long.
-
the location close to 14th Street with many bars is perfect. free bikes with good quality!
The sofa bed is absolutely uncomfortable and therefore unusable
-
Our room was very large and comfortable. The equipment with hairdryer, bathrobe, and care products were great. The proximity to the center is also great.
The parking lot is very expensive but otherwise everything was great.
-
Great location, within walking distance of most attractions. Hotel recently refurbished.
Can be a bit noisy, smallish bathroom.
-
It was perpect
-
Very nice buffet, unobtrusive and efficient stay. Would use the facility on next trips.
Lacks small "essentials" shop sent next store for a newspaper.
-
Rooms are very comfortable, staff are nice and impressed me a lot. Doubletree will be my first choice next time in Washington D.C.
-
Nice design of room
Bathroom and shower awkwardly designed and too small They didn't know my room rate and I got overcharged then no one could help me
-
Breakfast and serving staff good.
Initial room allocation was not what we had booked. We had to push hard for this to be changed on the second day. Also we booked two rooms, of course we would expect these to be adjoining where possible

The location, the cookies ...,,,

Beds were awful - asked to change rooms, but none were available. Had to leave a day early because my back was wrecked. Breakfast was a complete rip off.
